Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct and delegate activities to grounds staff, irrigation technician, mechanic, and other supervisory personnel.
• Communicate daily with the Golf Course Superintendent and Head Golf Professional regarding course conditions and playability.
• Maintain all permits and licenses related to the agronomy department.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous substances safely and legally.
• Assist with fertilizer and pesticide programs.
• Operate and calibrate maintenance equipment.
• Ensure a safe work environment and provide regular training.
• Oversee capital improvements to the golf course.
• Hire and train maintenance personnel.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Exposure to mechanical parts and weather conditions.
