Job summary

TGA Premier Sports in Bergen County is seeking coaches to teach golf to kids ages 5–14 at schools and community sites. Coaches can work 1 day up to 7 days per week, 2–5 hours daily during the school year, and 6+ hours in summer, with training provided.

We offer lead and assistant roles, with travel compensation for locations beyond 10 miles. Pay ranges from $15 to $30 per hour, with enrollment and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Available after school hours (2:30pm or later).
• Reliable transportation to commute to locations.
• Ability to energize kids and step out of comfort zone.
• Passion for working with kids and coaching sports.
• Clean background check is required.
• High energy, flexible schedule, punctual, creative.
• Excellent communication with kids and parents.
• Commit to at least one full season/session.

Job description

TGA Premier Sports in Bergen County is one of the fastest growing TGA franchises and we NEED COACHES! This posting is specifically for individuals who would love to teach the game of golf to KIDS. We are looking for responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching kids. TGA uses youth sports as the vehicle to teach kids ages 5-14 a skill, while incorporating education, character development, and proper etiquette. We do it in the comfort of their own school or community. We do all this while making FUN and SAFETY our two top priorities. Coaches can work 1 days per week all the way to 7 days per week, getting 2-5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer. We are looking for both lead and assistant coaches. Coaches must be at least 16 years of age. We train all staff on the TGA curriculum, so extensive coaching experience is not required. We have programs year round and work with coaches' flexible schedules. We have programs all over Bergen County, and will do our best to schedule you close by where you would be driving from. We will compensate for travel if we ask you to drive more then 10 miles to a location. We are looking to hire 10-15 coaches for the spring/summer sessions, so please pass this along to friends and family who may be interested in a part time position.
