Summary: Under the direction of the Golf Manager, the Cashier is responsible for the daily opening and closing procedures, collecting cash and credit card payments, and making proper change for admission, merchandise, and food/beverage sales. Responsibilities also include answering phones, customer communication, taking reservations, and maintaining a clean course and clubhouse area. Additionally, the Golf Course Cashier assists with tournaments and events when needed, promoting sales and performing essential functions as outlined in this job description.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the golf clubhouse and starter operations in a professional and efficient manner.
2. Provide excellent customer service and assistance to all patrons.
3. Control and manage play; ensure guest check-in and fee collection.
4. Follow daily opening, shift change, and closing procedures as listed in the operational procedure manual.
5. Follow daily cash control as listed in the operational procedure manual.
6. Work the computer system for reservations, cash register, and point of sale.
7. Collect correct fees for admission, merchandise, and food/beverages.
8. Answer phones, take reservations, greet customers, and answer any questions in a professional manner.
9. Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Some customer service experience desired, preferably in a golf course setting.
2. Must have a basic knowledge of counting currency.
3. Must have general computer skills and be able to present him/herself professionally when working with staff and community.

Schedule: Must be available mornings, nights, weekdays, and/or weekends.

Greet customers and handle cash transactions while working the front counter.

Sell and prepare concessions using safe food handling procedures.

Perform course maintenance and necessary daily cleaning duties.
