Job summary

American Golf Corporation is seeking a Snack Bar Attendant to serve food and drinks to members and guests at the club snack bar. You will handle orders, upsell offerings, and ensure quality presentation while complying with liquor and sanitation guidelines.

The role requires cash handling experience, flexibility with shifts including evenings and weekends, and strong customer service skills to create welcoming experiences for guests and members.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages where required.
• Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of liquor laws, procedures and policies and signs of intoxication.
• Understanding of proper food preparation, storage and sanitation requirements.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist members and guests in food and beverage selection by describing offerings and upselling where possible.
• Relay orders to kitchen or prepare items, and enter orders into register.
• Deliver orders with appropriate garnishes and ensure quality and presentation.
• Process sales through the POS system and maintain accurate cash handling.
• Maintain clean dining areas and displays, and manage inventory in storage areas.
• Contribute to closing procedures and adhere to attendance, timekeeping and dress code policies.
• Assist other outlets as requested by management and support training of peers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
