Job summary

Calusa Golf & Country Club, part of Troon, seeks a General Manager to lead operations at a Bradenton, FL property. The role oversees golf, racquet sports, lifestyle, wellness, F&B, facilities, and admin, ensuring exceptional member and guest experiences while driving financial performance.

The GM is a hands-on leader responsible for on-site leadership, HOA coordination, and community engagement, balancing hospitality with fiscal discipline.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; PGA membership helpful.
• Experience in golf operations/club management or related fields is desired.
• Proven staff development and supervisory capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages a property operating budget and marketing plan.
• Hires, develops, and supervises key management staff.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Oversees facilities, assets, and landscaping maintenance.
• Maintains high standards for food, beverage, and services.
• Analyzes income/expense statements and takes corrective actions.
• Coordinates with department heads to schedule and direct staff.
• Represents the property in community and external activities.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
