Job summary

LAZ Parking in Temple, Texas is seeking a Golf Cart Driver for full-time, split-shift work on weekdays. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass drug and background checks.

The driver will transport passengers and employees around Baylor Scott & White locations, ensuring safety and timely service. Typical hours are 6:30am-9:30am and 3:30pm-8:30pm, with a 6:30am-9:30am start and a 3:30pm-8:30pm return.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and at least 2 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must be able to submit and pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to meet the following MVR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily transportation for passengers to and from destinations.
• Greet customers, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution.
• Promote premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor and can-do attitude.
• Maintain communication with passengers, co-workers and supervisors.
• Assist with loading/unloading and related duties as assigned.

• Position: Golf Cart Driver
• Location: Baylor Scott & White - Temple, Texas
• Hours: Full - Time, Mon - Fri Split Shift6:30am-9:30am Return 3:30pm-8:30pm
• Requirements: Driver's license is required, minimum of 2 years
• Pay Rate: $14/hr

The Spirit of the Position:

The Golf Cart Driver position is responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the various pick-up/drop-off spots at the job site(s) and employee parking, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.

Responsibilities:

• Reliable and punctual attendance is paramount to this position.
• Works well with others and is a strong team player.
• Greet customers, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, display a caring attitude, and develop a rapport with all passengers.
• To work with and without supervision and follow direction of supervisors when requests are made.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Provide daily transportation for passengers to and from destinations.
• Prepare and submit accident / incident reports in a timely manner.
• Exercise care in the handling of funds and reporting of lost articles.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, supervisors, managers, etc. cosmetic) to management in a timely manner.
• Maintain alertness and be observant of any activity, both authorized and unauthorized.
• Perform other related/ additional duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Physical Demands:

• Ability to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
• Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using hands, wrists and arms.
• Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using ankles, knees and hips.
