Job summary

Elk Grove Park District in Elk Grove Village is seeking a Cart Attendant to keep the golf cart fleet, pull carts, storage areas, restrooms and patio clean and in working order under supervision of the clubhouse manager. The role requires physical ability to maneuver a cart ramp, operate a golf cart and assist with staging and takedown of carts.

CPR and First Aid certification are required and training is provided by the Elk Grove Park District.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of pertinent safety precautions

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf cart fleet including washing carts, garbage removal, organization and staging of carts, maintaining gas levels
• Pull carts and pull cart area organized and cleaned
• Keep basement organized, swept and hosed down
• Maintain patio area including tables, garbage and recycle bins, sweeping and cleaning
• Assist with clubhouse maintenance including cleaning bathrooms, windows and glass doors
• Operate golf cart and assist with cart ramp and takedown of carts
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with district policies
• Be familiar with safe operation of equipment necessary for tasks
