Job summary

Colonial Golf & Tennis Club is seeking a Golf Cart Attendant to support daily golf operations and member services in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves assisting with tournaments, bag handling, cart maintenance, and educating players on course policies while providing courteous service to all guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older to operate golf carts on premises and through the parking lot.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Must be able to work varying weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to provide quality customer service to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Colonial Golf & Tennis Club.
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
• Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
• Performs range maintenance such as presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day.
• May direct start of play as needed.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs and services the customers who are renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Cleans golfers clubs upon completion of play.

About the Position

The Golf Cart Attendant works in a fast paced environment tending to the players and membership, ensuring that the daily golf operations run smoothly. They will assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot. Our Cart Attendants provide courteous service to all guests and properly maintain the needs of the golfers on a day to day basis.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older and have minimum of a driver's permit - you will be operating/driving golf carts on the premises and through the parking lot


• Working knowledge and understand of golfer's etiquette is required


• Regular and reliable attendance is required


• Must be able to work varying weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays


• A positive attitude!


• Ability to provide quality customer service to all guests


• Must have regular and reliable transportation
