Job summary

Harris Golf Cars is seeking a dependable Service Technician to join our Grimes team. The role combines shop support, golf car deliveries, detailing, and basic mechanical tasks to keep operations running smoothly. The candidate should be mechanically inclined and adaptable to varied duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to tow a trailer or willingness to learn.
• Mechanical aptitude; automotive, small engine, or golf car experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 85 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver golf cars to customers and between company locations using a company truck and trailer.
• Wash, detail, and prepare golf cars for delivery or customer pickup.
• Assist service technicians with repairs, accessory installations, and general shop tasks.
• Load and unload golf cars safely.
• Help organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment.
• Complete basic maintenance and inspections on golf cars.
• Accurately follow and complete daily work assignments provided by the Operations Manager/ Service Manager.
• Support multiple departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
