Job summary

LaPorte Community School Corporation seeks qualified coaching staff. Before being submitted for Board approval, candidates must complete a background check ($15) and provide I-9 documentation, tax forms, and a direct-deposit form, plus view training videos at the Educational Services Center (approx. one hour).

For athletic coaching roles, additional training videos must be completed through the athletic office prior to duties. Previous coaching experience is preferred.

Position Requirements

Before a coach can work with students or have his/her name submitted for approval to the Board of School Trustees, a candidate must complete the background check authorization (at a cost of $15.00--cash or check) and the background check must receive a "cleared" rating.Additionally, he/she must complete a federal I-9 form (providing copies of the appropriate identification documents); tax forms; a direct-deposit form (with an attached voided check); and, view training videos at the Educational Services Center (approximately one hour in length).

If the coach is assigned to an athletic position, appropriate training videos must be completed through the athletic office before assuming coaching duties.

Previous coaching experience preferred.
