Job summary

Royal Palm is seeking a Bag Room / Cart Attendant to welcome members and guests and manage golf bags, carts, and related facilities. You will keep the bag room and cart barn clean, assist with storage and rotation, and maintain safety standards across equipment.

The role requires effective communication in person and on radio, a friendly service mindset, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and guests according to standards.
• Pull golf bags from storage and place on golf carts.
• Place and store golf clubs according to guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of each golf cart.
• Keep cart barn and bag room clean and organized.
• Record damaged/broken-down carts for repair.
• Oversee golf cart rotation procedures.
• Communicate professionally at all times.
• Maintain professional grooming standards.
• Adhere to Royal Palm policies and procedures.
• Be alert, courteous and helpful to members and guests.
• Maintain practice facility as directed.
• Suggest improvements to Head Golf Professional.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Bag Room / Cart Attendant is responsible for initiating hospitality to our members and guests, with duties specifically related to the care, placement and storage of their golf clubs. Additional duties primarily include maintenance of golf carts, cart barn, practice facility and surrounding areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and welcome members and guests according to standards.
• Pull golf bags from storage and places them on golf carts ready for use according to club standards.
• Place and store golf clubs according to each member or guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness, preparation, and safety standards of each golf cart.
• Maintain cleanliness of cart barn, bag room, and surrounding work areas.
• Ensure adherence to complete golf cart maintenance program.
• Maintain records of damaged/broken-down carts for repair.
• Oversee procedure for golf cart rotation.
• All communication is conducted in professional manner according to guidelines.
• Maintain professional appearance in accordance to grooming standards.
• Be aware of and adhere to Royal Palm’s policies and procedures.
• Remain alert, courteous and helpful to the members and guests at all times.
• Maintain the practice facility according to standard.
• Bring any areas of concern or ideas to improve operation to the Head Golf Professional’s attention.
• Perform any other related duties as requested by supervisors.

Education / Experience
