Job summary

PopStroke is hiring Golf Associates to warmly welcome guests, guide them through the venue, and help with food and beverage service and retail purchases. You’ll keep the golf shop organized, assist with play, and ensure a clean, friendly environment across indoor and outdoor spaces.

We look for strong teamwork, excellent guest service, and reliable availability on weekends and holidays. This non-exempt, hourly role offers tips on top of base pay and a dynamic, fast-paced setting at PopStroke

Qualifications

• Previous guest service, retail, or hospitality experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Prior POS system experience preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Must have strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome our guests on arrival and acquaint them with property.
• Explain venue, check guests in, equip guests with tools to play, and answer questions.
• Serve beverages, beer, wine and ice cream at the golf counter; assist guests with retail purchases.
• Maintain the golf shop fully stocked.
• Remove trash, maintain organization of the golf shop and the golf courses.
• Ensure cleanliness of all golf courses, and golf shop areas, including restrooms.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, balance cash drawers, use POS system, and maintain security protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Assist guests with play, course rules and PopStroke app.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay rate: Hourly + tips

Golf Associates can earn $30+ per hour, hourly rate plus tips

Role type: non-exempt

Essential Job Duties

• Welcome our guests on arrival and acquaint them with property.
• Explain venue, check guests in, equip guests with tools to play, and answer questions.
• Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, beer, wine and ice cream at the golf counter. Assist guests with retail purchases.
• Maintain the golf shop fully stocked.
• Remove trash, maintain organization of the golf shop and the golf courses.
• Ensure cleanliness of all golf courses, and golf shop areas, including restrooms. Restock golf shop stations and restrooms.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding the venue, pricing, membership and other golf‑related information in a professional and courteous manner.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, balancing cash drawers, accurately using POS system, and maintaining security protocols.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a memorable experience for all guests.
• Assist guests with play, course rules and PopStroke app.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time.
