Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Golf Assistant Professional to support golf shop operations, coordinate guest and member play, and assist with outside service activities. The role includes teaching golf clinics and junior camps, helping with inventory, and organizing tournaments and group outings.

Responsibilities include enforcing course rules, managing a monthly events calendar with maintenance and F&B teams, and ensuring timely reporting and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 1-2 years previous work experience in a golf course environment preferred.
• Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and sitting.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.

Job Description

The Golf Assistant Professional is responsible for assisting with operations pertaining to the golf shop & outside service activities, teaching golf clinics and junior camps, assisting with physical inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of golf rounds, customer preferences & usage patterns, scheduling tee times and handling customer inquiries. The assistant golf professional will also help with implementing tournaments, running group outings and special events, assist with organizing and maintaining ancillary services such as GHIN, assure timely submission of all reports and other additional duties as required. Is responsible for creating 5-star golf experience.

• Do monthly golf events calendar to assist golf course maintenance, F & B department, and member service staff.
• Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course useage.Be aware of pace of play on the course during the day. ? Effectively communicate with guests to ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service.
• Incorporate safe workplace practices in job performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
