Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in Durham, NC (Hybrid) with strong Go (preferred) and backend API experience. The role emphasizes owning services through their lifecycle, collaborating with product teams, and strengthening CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.

The position requires hands-on experience with Go, Java, Node.js, Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS/Azure, plus a passion for automation and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programming experience in Go/Java/Node.js building high-throughput APIs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices to increase delivery velocity.
• Foundation of Docker & Kubernetes operational skills and tools.
• Experience with cloud providers and platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience using AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot (or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, reliable backend services using Go (experience with additional languages such as Java, C++, Python is a plus).
• Own services throughout their lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Employ problem solving skills to analyze sophisticated engineering challenges.
