Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong day-job Go experience and ability to read, run, and debug unfamiliar Go code.
• Comfort writing concise unit tests that capture a single failure mode.
• Familiarity with a testing framework (Go test, pytest, Jest, JUnit, etc.).
• Clear written reasoning in a review note to convince senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Run and reproduce Go code outputs in a sandboxed environment for Go — Codebase Q&A assignments.
• Grade Go engineering solutions for correctness, style, and edge-case handling.
• Write minimal failing tests demonstrating bugs.
• Compare paired solutions and rank them with rationale tied to the rubric.
• Tag failure modes with severity scores and document recurring code-generation failures.
• Calibrate reviews to maintain high inter-rater agreement.
