Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies, a technology consulting and software development firm, is seeking a Go Application Engineer for a fully remote U.S. role.

You will design and build high-performance backend services and cloud-native applications using Go, with emphasis on latency, concurrency, and scalability. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software engineering experience with Go, solid knowledge of distributed systems, and hands-on experience with gRPC/REST APIs, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Go.
• Strong knowledge of Go concurrency (goroutines, channels, contexts).
• Hands-on production experience with gRPC and/or REST APIs in Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes-native development (client-go, controller-runtime).
• Solid experience with relational and key-value data stores.
• Understanding of distributed systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments.
• Excellent debugging and performance-engineering skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance backend services and cloud-native applications using Go.
• Develop infrastructure tooling and scalable services with a focus on latency and concurrency.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and operations teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code and design reviews.
