Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Back-End Go Engineer for a 6‑month contract in the Richmond, VA area, with a hybrid work model (Richmond or McLean, three days onsite). You’ll build and extend a large-scale data pipeline platform to monitor cloud compliance across thousands of AWS accounts.

The role focuses on Go development, serverless architectures, and data orchestration, with 4–6 years of backend experience expected.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of backend engineering experience, with strong Go development.
• Experience building serverless data pipelines at scale on AWS.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres) and data warehouses (Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain serverless data pipelines using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Scale and optimize a big data platform processing millions of findings daily.
• Integrate compliance pipelines with Client workloads and ensure reliable data flows.
• Interface backend apps with Postgres and Snowflake databases.
• Collaborate in a 7‑person team and track work in JIRA.
