Job summary

SITECH Northeast seeks tech-driven grade foremen and surveying specialists to advance GNSS and Robotic Total Station automation on dirt moving equipment. You will train customers, serve as SME for construction layout, and support 3D modeling and takeoff using Trimble/TBC tools.

Travel across Vermont; high school diploma required; familiarity with Trimble/Leica/Topcon layout technologies; strong communication and problem solving; driving record and license required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with construction site layout using GNSS and Robotic Total Station technologies.
• Strong survey techniques/background, know your way around grade stakes, blue prints and 3D models.
• Familiar with Trimble and/or Leica and/or Topcon layout technologies.
• Passion for heavy equipment, technology and productivity.
• Solid written and verbal communication and problem solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to travel throughout Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Execute training to customers on the use of Trimble branded products in a one-on-one or small group setting.
• Become the Subject Matter Expert for construction layout utilizing Robotic Total Stations and GNSS technology.
• Develop skill sets to support 3D modeling and takeoff using Trimble Business Center software.
• Support file management on construction sites for automated machine control and layout.
• Operate around machines with safety and awareness; machine operating skills not required.
• Travel to new locations potentially daily.
