Antcom, a Hexagon Group company, is seeking an Antenna Engineer in Torrance, CA to design and validate high-performance GNSS and wireless antennas. You will work on patch, array, and multi-band antennas, perform measurements, and ensure manufacturability for aerospace, defense, and commercial applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of related work experience; level commensurate with experience.
• Experience with HFSS or similar 3D EM simulation software.
• Experience with network analyzers and RF test equipment.
• Experience testing antenna radiation patterns.
• Understanding of production-ready antenna design.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and support GPS/GNSS and communications antennas.
• Evaluate performance: gain, bandwidth, impedance, radiation patterns, polarization.
• Conduct measurements with VNAs and anechoic chambers.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing for producible designs.
• Provide guidance on placement, grounding, shielding, and mechanical constraints.
• Perform PCB layout tweaks to support integration and RF circuitry.
• Contribute to proposals, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Improve manufacturing via test automation and data analysis.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
