Job summary

Air space Intelligence, Inc. is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Software Engineer for the Civil Aviation team.

You will design algorithms to track and plan trajectories for thousands of aircraft in the National Airspace System, applying state estimation, physics, and optimization to real-time software. You will collaborate across teams in a mission-critical environment, leveraging Rust and Python to accelerate development and improve code quality, while contributing to

Qualifications

Experience designing algorithms for mission-critical applications.
Expertise in core GNC domains, including state estimation and algorithm design.
Experience with Monte Carlo analysis to validate and tune algorithm performance.
Domain experience in aviation or related fields where physical systems are modeled and controlled.
Experience with Rust and Python.

Responsibilities

Design algorithms to track and plan trajectories for thousands of aircraft operating in the National Airspace System (NAS).
Use knowledge of state estimation, physics, aircraft design, optimization to design, analyze, and implement software to monitor and control one of the world’s most complicated airspaces in real time.
Collaborate across teams in a mission-critical environment to deliver reliable software solutions.
