Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a senior GNC engineering leader to design and localize controls for unmanned ground vehicles. You will develop simulations, validate results in the field, and document outcomes for ongoing product development.

You will mentor junior engineers, write proposals, and leverage AI coding agents to accelerate from design to tested capability, using Python, C/C++, and ROS on-site in Logan, Utah.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in engineering with an emphasis in controls and localization.
• 10+ years of relevant controls and localization experience.
• Depth in state-space control, modern controllers, and localization algorithm design.

Responsibilities

• Design controls and localization algorithms for unmanned ground vehicles.
• Develop simulations that prove controls and localization designs before field testing.

• Ability to work on-site in Logan, Utah.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain in a stationary position at a computer workstation for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment continuously.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information in person, via phone, and through electronic means.
• Ability to traverse office, lab, data center, and field environments as required.
• Ability to work in lab, prototype, and outdoor field environments around vehicles and equipment.
