Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a motivated student for a summer internship in GNC design and autonomy. You will apply control theory, build and test GNC laws in our vehicle management software, and develop simulation models to inform design choices and margins.

This role emphasizes collaboration across teams and real-world impact on defense systems. The 12-week in-person internship occurs in summer 2027 at one of our offices in the United States, located in Costa Mesa, CA.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a technical field related to robotics or aerospace.
• Returning to school after the internship to continue academic studies.
• U.S. Person required due to access and/or security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply control theory and applied mathematics to design GNC solutions for autonomous systems.
• Design, build, and test GNC control laws in vehicle management system software.
• Build vehicle simulation models to inform design trades and assess system margins.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Contribute to development of new capabilities and real-world impact.
