Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to develop, integrate, and test core flight autonomy capabilities across Group 1-5 aerial platforms.

You will work with teams across the company to embed GNC algorithms into software and product stacks for both commercial and defense applications. The role requires a Master’s in a relevant field and 6+ years of hands-on GNC experience, with C++ or Python, DoD collaboration, and willingness to travel; U.S.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace, Robotics, EE, ME, CS or similar.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing GNC software for autonomous systems.
• Experience developing autonomy algorithms in C++ or Python.
• Experience developing or implementing outer-loop control systems or path planning algorithms.
• Experience developing and simulating 3DoF or 6DoF models of air vehicles to support GNC algorithm development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and test core flight autonomy capabilities across aerial platforms.
• Build, integrate, and test GNC algorithms into software stacks for commercial and defense applications.
• Collaborate with DoD experts and 3rd party UAS vendors to deploy autonomy software on OEM hardware.
