Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in feedback controls, dynamics, or electromechanical systems.
• Experience programming in Python, Rust, C/C++, Julia, or similar language.
• Ability to work across software, electrical, mechanical, and controls disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and tune closed‑loop control systems for flight vehicle actuators.
• Develop position, velocity, force, torque, and current control architectures for actuator systems.
• Model actuator dynamics, including motors, transmissions, and sensors.
• Support hardware sizing, testing, and integration with flight software.
• Develop SITL and HITL environments for actuator validation.
• Collaborate with GNC, avionics, embedded software, and mechanical teams.
