Castelon? Castelion seeks a GNC Engineer – Actuation Systems to design and tune closed-loop control for flight vehicle actuators, model actuator dynamics, and support embedded flight software for real‑world integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
• Strong fundamentals in feedback controls, dynamics, or electromechanical systems.
• Experience programming in Python, C/C++, Rust, Julia or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and tune closed-loop control for flight vehicle actuators.
• Model actuator dynamics, motors, gearing, sensors and control surfaces.
• Develop SITL/HITL environments and embedded flight software support.
• Coordinate with GNC, avionics, embedded software, mechanical, electrical, and test engineers.
