Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer specializing in Modeling and Simulation of complex technical solutions. You will join a team of engineers and algorithm developers supporting missiles and related programs, designing model and simulation architectures and performing 6-DOF simulations.

The role requires a strong background in C++, Matlab or Python, and relevant aerospace or engineering degrees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, physics, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or similar.
• Proficient in C++.
• Proficient in Matlab or Python.
• Must be a US Citizen; government security clearance.
• Experience with Guidance, Navigation and Control or Modeling and Simulation assignments.

Responsibilities

• Design and documentation of model and simulation requirements and architecture.
• Develop, verify, and validate complex models and simulations (6-DOF).
• Evaluate system performance and verify requirements.
• Support ground and flight test activities including HWIL.
• Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with leadership or customers.
