Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Wellness Home Services Provider (GNA) at Heron Point of Chestertown to offer compassionate daily living assistance to residents across levels of care. You will support bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility while prioritizing safety and dignity.

You will monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, report changes promptly to supervision, and help maintain comfort, independence, and personalized care within a warm community

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) program; or equivalent verifiable training and experience that meets all applicable state requirements
• Current CPR certification (or obtain within three months of employment)
• If responsible for transporting a resident, must maintain a valid state driver's license and provide proof of current automobile liability insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and report changes to supervisor
• Prioritize resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
