Purpose/Belief Statement

The position of Geriatric Nursing Assistant exists to provide routine nursing and personal care for residents to ensure the highest quality of resident care at all times. This role involves effective teamwork, resource management, and a focus on delivering quality care while supporting team successes.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• Geriatric Nurse Aide Certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligibility to enter, graduate, and pass a state test within 120 days of employment
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience involving independent decision making
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Experience in healthcare or service industry preferred
