Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Certification as Geriatric Nursing Assistant (or current CNA certification and working toward GNA certification). Temporary CNA License accepted.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

As a GNA, you will:

• Participate in and receive resident reports at shift start/end.
• Provide personal and nursing care per resident care plan.
• Facilitate and conduct activities.
• Respond to resident requests respectfully and with dignity.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment.
• Assist in preparing residents for activities.
• Ensure all care is respectful and dignified.
• Perform basic nursing procedures as required.
• Create a safe, comfortable environment and meet residents' needs.
• Meet food service needs promptly and compassionately.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities.
• Follow departmental, center, and corporate policies, including safety and infection control standards.
• Attend training and educational programs to maintain certification and improve care quality.
• Perform other activities as assigned.
