Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, oral care, and other basic needs
• Perform vital signs at the start of each shift and as directed
• Respond to assistance calls and observe changes in residents’ behavior or condition
• Complete documentation promptly
• Transport residents as needed
• Provide companionship and ensure resident safety
• Motivate residents to stay active and engaged
• Maintain a clean, healthy environment

Qualifications

• Current GNA certification and license in Maryland
• Positive, professional attitude
• Ability to work well in a team
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus
