Job summary

Comfi-Kare Homecare Services is hiring experienced Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors in Maryland.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, and mobility, monitoring patient condition, and providing companionship. Eligible candidates must hold Maryland GNA certification and have reliable transportation. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland GNA certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to provide 2 professional references.
• PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR may be required.

• Help clients move safely and transfer from bed to chair.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs and client condition.

• Document care provided and report changes to nurses or family.

GNA Requirements
