Job Title: Mobile General Maintenance Worker I at Stanford Health Care, Palo Alto, CA.

Job Summary: The technician reports to the Assistant Chief Engineer and performs preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds, utilizing multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, and HVAC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled field inspections and report findings.
• Complete work orders, obtain materials, and ensure safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and minor repairs.
• Utilize technology for work order management and communication.
• Estimate time and materials, and collaborate with the Operations Manager for quotes.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and effective communication with departments.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications/licenses.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical trades, including electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Compensation and Benefits: $35 - $39/hr, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.
