Job summary

bioMérieux in North Carolina is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for receiving shipments, picking, packing and delivering material for manufacturing and packaging lines. You will process stock transfers, move materials to staging areas, and ensure GMP-compliant shipping and receiving with accurate inventory control.

The role emphasizes safe operation of material handling equipment, adherence to SOPs, and data entry, cycle counts, and maintenance tasks. Local travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and forklift preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Familiarity with DOT, IATA, ISO and FDA standards is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and deliver orders for direct materials used in Manufacturing and Packaging Lines.
• Process Stock Transfer Orders to Distribution Center.
• Move material to storage bins or staging areas with proper equipment following SOPs.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and GMP compliance in shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.
• Receive goods, verify against shipment records, and inspect condition.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized handling equipment safely.
• Manage flow of materials in manufacturing areas per guidelines.
• Monitor space usage and maintain proper warehouse utilization.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and practice safe habits.
• Perform data entry, cycle counting, and forklift battery maintenance.
• Assess safety and environmental risks per HSE policies.
• Adhere to company quality procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
