Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Rhode Island is seeking a GMP Technician to keep assigned GMP areas clean and orderly. You will work with others, follow written and verbal instructions, and explain how to complete tasks with basic communication.

The role emphasizes safety rules, teamwork, and professional interaction with leads and customers. Shift: Tue-Sat 11:00pm–7:30am; pay $21.70–$23.70 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals.

Responsibilities

• Understand reporting systems and the environment.
• Perform repetitive tasks in a GMP environment.
• Perform sanitization duties to maintain a GMP controlled environment.
• Consistently follow all customer and SBM SOPs and procedures.
• Respond to customer requests in a professional manner.
• Fully train in area job functions for specific shift assignment and area classification including walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shut-down cleaning.
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and completely.
• Must be trained and be certified in correct gowning procedures for assigned area.
• Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer SOPs.
• Complete all safety certifications including chemical safety.
• Available to act as area fill-in in the event of general staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing work orders and internally identified items for assigned area.

Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma / GED – preferred. 6mo to 1 year of experience – preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
