Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a GMP Technician to maintain clean, orderly GMP areas and support the shift team. The role involves following instructions, communicating tasks clearly, and maintaining a professional standard across all duties.

The position emphasizes safety, proper PPE usage, and adherence to customer SOPs, with opportunities to train in area-specific functions and areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus; valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain clean work area and perform sanitization in GMP environment.
• Work in a team to complete tasks and support shift lead with punch-list items.
• Explain tasks clearly and communicate professionally with supervisors and customers.
• Respond to customer requests and follow customer SOPs.

GMP Technician

Job Description

The GMP Tech will be responsible for keeping assigned areas within GMP in clean and orderly condition. The tech will work successfully with fellow employees and others while understanding and following instructions, both verbal and written. The individual should be able to explain how to complete a task, using basic communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Consistently follow all customer and SBM SOP's and procedures

• Fully train in area job functions for specific shift assignment and area classification including walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shut-down cleaning
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and completely
• Must be trained and be certified in correct gowning procedures for assigned area
• Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer Standard Operating Procedures
• Complete all safety certifications including chemical safety
• Available to act as area fill-in in the event of general staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing work orders and internally identified items for assigned area

Qualification

• Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma / GED - preferred. 6mo to 1 year of experience - preferred
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus May be required to have a valid driver's license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

• Tuesday - Saturday: 7:00am-3:30pm
• Tuesday - Saturday: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
• Sunday - Thursday: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
• Sunday - Thursday:11pm - 7:30am
• Tuesday - Saturday:11pm - 7:30am

$18.00-$19.00 per hour
