GMP Tech role within SBM Management Services, LP, based in Walkersville, MD, operates in a GMP environment. The incumbent will maintain clean, orderly areas and follow strict safety, PPE, and gowning procedures while coordinating with leads and coworkers.

Responsibilities include sanitization, punch‑list support, logs, and training completion. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of experience; CPR/First Aid a plus. Shift: Mon‑Fri 2PM–10:30PM; $19–$20/hour.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma / GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus; forklift certification may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Understand reporting systems and the environment.
• Perform sanitization duties to maintain a GMP controlled environment.
• Follow customer SOPs and procedures.
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and completely.
• Must be trained and certified in correct gowning procedures for assigned area.
• Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings.
• Complete safety certifications including chemical safety.
• Available to act as area fill‑in in case of staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing work orders.

Job Overview

The GMP Tech will be responsible for keeping assigned areas within GMP in clean and orderly condition. The tech will work successfully with fellow employees and others while understanding and following instructions, both verbal and written. The individual should be able to explain how to complete a task, using basic communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform sanitization duties to maintain a GMP controlled environment
• Consistently follow all customer and SBM SOP's and procedures
• Respond to customer requests in a professional manner
• Fully train in area job functions for specific shift assignment and area classification including walls, floors, windows, wipe‑downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shut‑down cleaning
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and completely
• Must be trained and be certified in correct gowning procedures for assigned area
• Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer Standard Operating Procedures
• Complete all safety certifications including chemical safety
• Available to act as area fill‑in in the event of general staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing work orders and internally identified items for assigned area

The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma / GED - preferred. 6mo to 1 year of experience - preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements. . Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
