Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is hiring a GMP Supervisor for New Albany, OH. The role oversees a GMP program, supervising employees and temporary staff, ensuring sanitation and OSHA compliance, and coordinating inspections and training.

The position includes day and night shifts (7am-3:30pm, 10pm-6:30am), with duties spanning supervising, reporting, and maintaining records. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates with an equivalent combination of education, technical training, professional certifications, and progressively responsible experience leading facilities, operations, janitorial, manufacturing, or service teams will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and inspect activities within GMP program areas.
• Train, supervise and instruct employees on tasks, safety, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and monitor work activities; recommend training and issue discipline.
• Prepare written reports and updates (pass down, weekly/monthly).
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Track equipment and supplies inventories; schedule maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor use of PPE to ensure safety compliance.
• Provide recommendations for corrective actions and improvements.
• Maintain training, inspection, attendance, and metric records.

Compensation: $50,000-$55,000

• Night shift Supervisor 10pm-630am, Sunday-Thursday

Job Overview

The GMP Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities within the assigned areas in the GMP program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The supervisor will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation, OSHA regulations and site-specific SOPs.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
• Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommends training and issues discipline
• Prepare written reports, such as pass down, and/or weekly/monthly updates
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
• Track equipment inventory, and schedules maintenance and repair
• Track supplies inventory
• Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety compliance
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager
• Correct at risk behavior immediately, then reports to the manager immediately
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
• Maintain records, i.e., training, inspections, attendance, and metric data
• Familiar with supervisor responsibilities
• Some travel may be required for this position

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
