Job summary

Amneal is seeking a QA Inspector I to monitor and inspect incoming materials, packaging components and returned goods, ensuring compliance with specifications in a Town of Brookhaven facility. The role includes sampling, testing, and preparing materials for QC lab while maintaining detailed records and verifying expiry dates.

Responsibilities also cover in-process testing, final product labeling checks, and strict adherence to GMP procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in QA or related field.
• Good math skills and attention to detail.
• OSHA-compliant respirator fit test required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test incoming raw materials, packaging components and returned goods.
• Prepare samples for chemical and microbiological analysis and deliver to QC lab.
• Maintain records of sampling, inspections and testing activities.
• Verify expiry and retest dates for GMP materials via COA and in-house COA.
• Perform in-process testing and final labeling checks; ensure batch record accuracy.
• Monitor isolation areas and disposition of rejected material.
