Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Scientist II, QC Analytical for our on-site Framingham, MA facility. This role ensures GMP-compliant testing of raw materials, in-process samples, water, and finished drug products within a cGMP environment.

The candidate will establish QC procedures, review data, manage lab systems, and generate method qualification reports. Travel is not specified; a 5-day workweek is implied by site practices.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in analytical chemistry or related science.
• 5+ years GMP/GLP laboratory experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office; strong organization and communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMP-compliant QC testing of raw materials, in-process, water, and drug product samples in a cGMP environment (Framingham).
• Establish and maintain QC procedures, review data, manage lab systems and equipment, generate method qualification reports, and oversee sample handling and storage.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections; troubleshoot analytical methods and equipment.
• Oversee junior staff, provide training, and assist with lab investigations such as OOS and OOT deviations ensuring GMP compliance.
