Job summary

Nutramax Laboratories in Lancaster, SC, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to provide daily QA support in manufacturing and packaging on-site, including QA processes for CMOs. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 4 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, with proficiency in SAP and QA documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or dietary supplement manufacturing preferred.
• Auditing experience and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Great enthusiasm and hard work ethic required.
• Detail oriented and team centered approach expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-process review and training to production operators.
• Understand roles of Contract Manufacturing Organizations.
• Assist with trending and metrics in QA department.
• Familiarity with QA functions in SAP.
• Create/Revise SOPs, batch records, and other GMP documents.
• Perform non-conformance investigations and monitor NCRs/CAPAs.
• Review and release of CMO batch records and assist with in-house release.
