Job summary

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital and technical projects that support manufacturing, packaging, utilities and facility operations. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and compliant with GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing, packaging equipment, and utilities in a GMP environment.
• Experience managing capital projects and contractors.
• GMP compliance including change control, deviations, CAPAs, and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging operations.
• Engineering degree required; PMP/PgMP/Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/CMRP certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and expense projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, cost estimates, URS and execution plans.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal resources for safe, compliant execution.
• Track progress, risks, and budgets; report status to stakeholders.
• Support Change Controls, Deviations, CAPAs, and Quality Records related to projects.
• Ensure CMMS readiness with live SOPs, spare parts, and equipment turnover.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and best practices across the site.
