Job summary

System One is seeking a Production Operator in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for a 1st shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm, rotating). This contract role supports a 24/7 regulated operation by running equipment, maintaining GMP documentation, and safely handling hazardous materials.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma/GED, 1–2 years in production (pharma or chemical preferred), and experience with GMP/FDA procedures, PPE, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of production experience; pharma or chemical manufacturing preferred, food manufacturing acceptable.
• Experience in GMP or FDA-regulated environments and understanding their role in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with examples from previous roles.
• Comfortable working around hazardous materials and wearing PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Follow GMP and FDA procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot process issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.
• Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials while following PPE requirements.
• Maintain production schedules and ensure areas remain audit-ready.
