Job summary

The KYO Group is seeking a Process Automation Engineer for Manufacturing Engineering in a GMP manufacturing setting. You will design, implement, and maintain process control systems (DeltaV, PLC, SCADA) and drive improvements in reliability, data integrity, and efficiency.

You will support validation, lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and manufacturing teams to ensure compliant OT/IT integration and ongoing system performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting automation systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with DCS and PLC platforms (DeltaV, Rockwell, Siemens, etc.).
• Experience with system commissioning, loop tuning, and startup activities.
• Experience supporting GMP change control and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain process control systems in compliance with GMP requirements.
• Provide technical ownership of DeltaV, PLC, SCADA, and associated platforms.
• Lead troubleshooting for control systems, networked devices, and data acquisition.
• Develop system enhancements to improve reliability, throughput, and data integrity.
• Support validation documentation including URS, FRS, IQ/OQ, and change control.
• Integrate manufacturing data sources to improve visibility and reporting.
• Develop monitoring/alerting tools to proactively detect issues.
