Andelyn Biosciences, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical CDMO specializing in gene therapies, located in Columbus, OH. The Scientist I will contribute to day-to-day plasmid production, documentation, and SOP-compliant practices in a regulated facility.

You will work with a diverse team to ensure timely production, troubleshoot issues, and pursue process improvements under supervision, while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.

Qualificações

• Must possess a relevant four-year degree, background in the life sciences, biotechnology, or gene therapy industries preferred.
• Experience in highly regulated field preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and adjust as priorities change.
• Must be literate in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Must possess a client-focused mindset in daily tasks.
• Must possess prior experience handling confidential information and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on assistance for day-to-day plasmid production operations, including execution of production processes and documentation.
• Prepare and inventory maintenance of solutions prepared in-house for use in plasmid production processes.
• Support production to deliver all products in a timely, compliant, and fiscally responsible fashion by following SOPs for manufacturing biological products.
• Work with Plasmid Production staff to expand knowledge base and skill set.
• Learn to troubleshoot issues and trend errors and identify areas for process improvement with management.
