Job summary

Waters is seeking a manufacturing associate to support packaging and production operations at our Sparks, MD site. You will follow GMP guidelines, operate fill lines and related equipment, and maintain accurate records to ensure product integrity.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication within the team, and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Responsibilities include weighing, labeling, material handling, and collaboration with shifts to confirm status and batch

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 3 years manufacturing or warehouse experience incl. FDA/relevant regulated environment.
• Ability to work on routine tasks and recognize deviations from specification.
• Maintain neat, accurate logs manually or electronically.
• Read, write, and analyze charts; perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Package materials following SMP and SOP, including equipment setup and documentation.
• Fill, assemble, label and inspect products with limited supervision.
• Move materials from storage to workspace using material handling equipment.
• Set up, operate and clean production equipment including weighing scales and shrink-wrap equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records: logs, batch history, label reconciliation, work orders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems; support lead or supervisor.
• Provide training support for onboarding and new procedures.
• Follow GMP procedures and BD safety/housekeeping policies.
• Overtime as required to meet business needs.
