Job summary

Adare Pharma Solutions is seeking a Manager, Packaging Mechanics to lead the Packaging Mechanics team at our Philadelphia facility, ensuring safe, compliant operation and upkeeping of packaging equipment.

You will supervise technicians, optimize maintenance programs, coordinate with Manufacturing, QA/QC, and Validation, and drive continuous improvement while upholding cGMP and EH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
• GMP experience required.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams and supervising hourly employees.
• Strong project management skills.
• Knowledge of bottle and blister packaging machine mechanics.
• Experience with solvent/hazardous processing preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Packaging Mechanics; supervise technicians and contractors.
• Plan and schedule work distribution; ensure on-time completion and compliance.
• Optimize packaging equipment performance and utilization.
• Serve as SME for Preventative Maintenance scheduling and reporting.
• Coordinate input on hours, skills, and project staffing.
• Develop technicians and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and update predictive and preventive maintenance programs and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and EH&S policies; manage safety and quality incidents.
