Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions (Simtra) in Bloomington, Indiana seeks a Microbiology Quality Lab Associate I to perform complex routine sampling and testing of finished products and in‑process samples under the supervision of a Microbiology Supervisor.

You will document results in the LIMS, contribute to investigations, and participate in continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field (preferably Microbiology).
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; able to use enterprise software (JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise).

Responsibilities

• Perform testing (bioburden, sterility, growth promotion, etc.) on finished products and in-process samples.
• Document results and investigations in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Assist in microbiology investigations and participate in continuous improvement activities.
