Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee purchasing, shipping, receiving and inventory control for the DPF facility in a GMP environment. You will plan material flows, manage stock levels and coordinate with Operations and Quality to ensure timely release and shipment of materials.

The role requires extensive experience in pharmaceutical logistics, proficiency with SAP or similar ERP, strong Excel skills, and the ability to train staff and improve

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical materials management or a regulated healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP practices as they relate to materials management and ERP systems.
• Ability to maintain exact and detailed records and train staff in material control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, shipping, receiving and inventory of materials.
• Plan and procure facility supplies while adhering to budgetary requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations and Quality to ensure materials are released and available.
• Ensure materials management complies with cGMP and safety procedures.
• Provide SAP and material control training to staff and improve processes.
