Job summary

Unicon Pharma Inc. in Oceanside, CA is seeking a contract manufacturing technician to support floor operations, strictly following batch records, SOPs, and cGMP regulations.

You will collaborate with MSAT, Facilities & Engineering, and Quality to run GMP processes, perform raw material weighing, and assist in viral vector manufacturing under aseptic guidelines. This role may require off-hours and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing processes on the floor following batch records, SOPs, and cGMP regulations.
• Ensure right-the-first-time performance of process steps across operation stages.
• Collaborate with MSAT, Facilities & Engineering, and Quality to run GMP operations.
• Perform weighing of raw materials and electronic inventory transactions using MES and EBS.
• Carry out cell culture and viral vector fabrication operations in a cGMP environment.
• Prepare and use single-use systems for formulation and filter integrity testing.
• Maintain mammalian cell culture in flasks, CellSTACKs, and bioreactor systems.
• Assist with transfection, harvesting, and fill of viral vector material.
• Escalate processing and equipment issues as needed and support SOP revisions.
• Review in-process cGMP documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Work off-shift hours and weekends as required.
