Job summary

Qualifications

  • A.A. Degree required with 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus.
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Completed all safety and task training certification.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and direct operations to meet contractual responsibilities.
  • Develop work schedules to ensure adequate service.
  • Prepare schedules for service personnel and assign routes.
  • Inspect and evaluate establishment for safety, quality, and service compliance.
  • Audit inventories, supply and equipment.
  • Review service requests and address with manager.
  • Facilitate budget requests and identify cost reductions.
  • Maintain contract and contractor status databases.
  • Establish and maintain contact with contractors for smooth contract processes.
  • Attend meetings to communicate with customers, clients, and employees.

Title: GMP Manager

Job Description: NOW HIRING: GMP Manager

Compensation: $72,000-$75,000 per year

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Job Overview

The GMP Manager will be responsible for coordinating and directing operations necessary to carry out contractual responsibilities between SBM and customers including all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supply contact, customer relations and other high level managerial or supervisor responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop work schedules to ensure adequate service
  • Prepare schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes
  • Inspect and evaluate physical condition of establishment for program compliance, i.e., safety, quality, and service
  • Audit and maintain inventories supply and equipment
  • Investigate and promote improved equipment and methods
  • Review customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and address with manager
  • Implement organization policies and goals
  • Facilitate budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made
  • Inspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities
  • Assist with plans, budgets, and schedule modifications including cost estimates bid sheets and contracts
  • Participate in the development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements
  • Assist with coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents
  • Collect data for preparing estimates, labor hours, expenses, and other metrics
  • Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Direct supervisory management engaged in support of facilities programs
  • Act as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors
  • Maintain contract and contractor status databases
  • Review correspondence concerning contractors and responds as appropriate
  • Establish and maintain contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process
  • Conduct and attend meetings to communicate top down, and bottom up on a consistent real time basis, with customers, clients, and employees
  • Assist with human resource concerns and issues

Some travel may be required for this position.

Education and/ or Experience
  • A.A. Degree required with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license
  • Completed all safety and task training certification
  • May be required to be forklift certified
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
  • Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Skills
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and general public
Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
